An exhibition of popular illustrator Nakamura Yusuke, "Nakamura Yusuke Exhibition ALL AROUND YUSUKE NAKAMURA," will be held from April 20th to May 21st at a special venue in the Ikebukuro Parco Main Building.


Nakamura Yusuke is a popular illustrator who has worked on CD jackets for the rock band ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, as well as book covers for novels such as "After Dinner Mysteries" and "The Night is Short, Walk on Girl."

The "Nakamura Yusuke Exhibition," held in Osaka in July 2017 to commemorate the 15th anniversary of his career, attracted approximately 27,000 visitors. This traveling exhibition, which closed to great acclaim, will be updated with the addition of new works. Approximately 150 pieces will be on display, including finished illustrations, uncolored line drawings, and concept sketches. This is a rare opportunity to see almost all of Nakamura's work in one place. Original merchandise, such as commemorative stamps and badges, will also be available for purchase exclusively at the venue. Signing sessions and talk shows will also be held during the exhibition. To attend the talk show, purchases of ¥2,000 or more (tax included) at the venue's shop or an admission ticket purchased at the exhibition reception desk will be accepted. To attend the signing session, tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis to those who purchase the exhibition catalog "BEST," art books "NOW" and "Blue," or coloring book "COLOR ME" and an admission ticket purchased at the exhibition reception desk.
