Jimmy Choo appoints David Collins Studio, formerly known for McQueen, as new store designer

Jun 12, 2013
It has been announced that London-based design studio David Collins Studio will be in charge of designing new stores worldwide for luxury brand JIMMY CHOO.

Starting with the 2012-13 Autumn/Winter season, the studio will work with Sandra Choi, Jimmy Choo's creative director, to develop a new approach to store design. The first store is scheduled to open in Beverly Hills, USA, in the spring of next year.

For a quarter of a century, David Collins Studio has designed interiors for the luxury industry, including hotels, restaurants, and shops around the world. In addition to the world's first Alexander McQueen accessories store, which opened in Roppongi Hills in April this year, he has also designed the brand's stores in London, Hong Kong and Shanghai, as well as the bar at London's five-star hotel Claridge's and the interiors of restaurants run by three-star chef Gordon Ramsay.
