■ "Collections Femme 1989-2009" Martin Margiela

This is the official catalog for the exhibition "MARGIELA / GALLIERA, 1989-2009," held at the Musée de la Mode de Paris (Palace Galliera) from March 3 to November 15, 2018. Martin Margiela, a leading figure in the contemporary fashion industry, is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp and one of the six renowned designers known as the "Antwerp Six." Through the collections held by the Palais Galliera, this exhibition looks back on the brand's work from its inception to the present day, revealing the designer's sensitive and dreamy worldview. Also on display are rare documents from the Palais Galliera collection, such as show invitations and photos of decorations, and a detailed chronological account of the 40-plus shows held to date.
