adidas Skateboarding will release two models of its innovative new silhouette, "3ST," on April 5th, shaping the future of skateboarding.
"3ST" is a footwear collection that shapes the future of skateboarding, created by a collaboration between the brand's riders and designers, pursuing innovative ideas that are unconstrained by conventional concepts. Developed with input from world-renowned skaters, including Na-kel Smith, the collection features a vulcanized sole that combines design and functionality, and combines sophisticated aesthetics with premium materials to create an innovative design. Two new models, the "3ST.001" and "3ST.002," will be released for the Spring/Summer 2018 season. Both models feature the TORSION® system, which provides arch support, increased stability and response for quick movements. The vulcanized outsole with Geoflex technology delivers optimal board feel and control, while also providing grip and flexibility.
The "3ST.001" (¥11,000) features a breathable, sock-style knit upper. To ensure long-lasting durability, ADITUFF, a highly abrasion-resistant material, is used in areas that require durability for skateboarding. The laces are tucked inside the shoe to minimize breakage, and the translucent outsole allows the TORSION® logo to be seen.
"3ST.002" CQ1205 (¥12,000)
The "3ST.002" (¥12,000) features a one-piece suede upper overlaid with a knit sock for a snug fit. Breathable mesh on the inside and stable TPU reinforcement provide optimal support while skateboarding. Also available is the "3ST.002 PK" (¥14,000) crafted from Primeknit. The shoes will be available at the Adidas Originals Flagship Store Tokyo, Adidas Originals Shops Shinsaibashi and Fukuoka, the Adidas Online Shop (https://shop.adidas.jp/item/?cat2Id=3ST), and at official Adidas Skateboarding skateboard shops, and will be released sequentially from April 5th.
