Cartier's "Jewelry Atelier" pavilion has opened at KidZania Tokyo for a limited time. It will be open from September 6th to September 26th.

The "Jewelry Atelier" is a bright space that incorporates the interior design used in the boutique and features Cartier's iconic "Panthère" painted on the wall. There, children learn about the types and characteristics of stones, which are the starting point for jewelry designer creations, as well as the history of Cartier and jewelry. They then color and decorate a sketch of one of the Maison's traditional necklaces to complete their own creations. Through their work experience at the KidZania Tokyo pavilion, children will deepen their knowledge of jewelry and experience Cartier's craftsmanship, which has remained unchanged since the company's founding in 1847, in pursuit of timeless beauty.

Additionally, on November 13th, as part of Out of KidZania, 10 children (4th grade and above) selected from those who completed their work experience at the pavilion will be invited to work at the Cartier Ginza boutique. Jewelry designers will carefully assess the unique characteristics of each stone to create their designs, which will then be brought to life as beautiful jewelry through the skilled hands of exceptional artisans. The completed pieces are displayed in the boutique, where children can actually touch the jewelry, experience the Maison's worldview firsthand, and learn customer service and hospitality skills as Cartier boutique staff.

Since its founding, Cartier has produced many high jewelry pieces that could be considered art pieces. Each piece is born from a dialogue between creativity and exceptional skill, and the encounter with a unique stone. Cartier's creations have been passed down through generations. We hope that this work experience as a jewelry designer and boutique staff member will give the children a real feel for Cartier's tradition and enrich their sensibilities.
Tetsutaro Sato, Business Manager, KidZania Tokyo, KCJ GROUP Co., Ltd.
KidZania offers a wide range of work experiences based on the concept of "edutainment (learning while having fun)," and we are very pleased to be able to provide children with new value through this pavilion. Activities that teach about historical and traditional manufacturing are a unique KidZania experience that allows children to "touch the real thing," and are a major factor in the growth of children as they soar into the future. We hope that many children will experience this fascinating content.
