New works arriving in Japan for the first time! Italian art magazine "TOILETPAPER" merchandise fair held at Daikanyama T-Site

Event Date:2018.03.21-04.20
Mar 22, 2018
A fair for Italian art magazine TOILETPAPER will be held at Daikanyama T-Site from March 21st to April 10th. In addition to new merchandise making its Japanese debut, a lineup of popular works will be on sale.

TOILETPAPER was launched in 2010 by leading Italian contemporary artist Maurizio Cattelan and photographer Pierpaolo Ferrari. The magazine, which is entirely visual and devoid of text, has the concept of "permeating art and life with complete democracy, without the intervention of translation, explanation, or criticism." The merchandise, featuring photographs from the magazine, is designed to bring the concept of a museum into the everyday lives of purchasers.
Spaghetti Dinner Plate

These products, such as the eye-catching, vibrantly designed spaghetti dinner plate and the colorful umbrella with a typewriter pattern, embody the pop art approach of revealing new perspectives on familiar objects, much like Andy Warhol's Campbell's Soup cans.

The products featured in the fair will also be available for purchase online from midnight on March 21st (https://store.shopping.yahoo.co.jp/d-tsutayabooks/toiletpape.html).
