Vivienne Westwood Anglomania will release a collaboration model with VANS exclusively in Japan on March 23rd.
Introducing the classic Vans "Sk8-Hi" in 1978, the shoe was beloved by many skaters for its ankle-covering functionality and distinctive stripes on the side. At the same time, Vivienne Westwood was at the forefront of London's punk movement, selling one-of-a-kind items at Seditionaries, a store located at 430 Kings Road.
This collaboration combines the signature design elements of both brands, and features the iconic "Sk8-Hi" in two colors (19,000 yen) with a Piccadilly Circus print, based on the brand's signature "Sk8-Hi." Both models, available in full color and monochrome tones, come with two colors of shoelaces.
Available at Vivienne Westwood Anglomania Laforet Harajuku, Isetan Shinjuku, Nagoya Parco, Lucua Osaka, Namba Parks, and Hakata Hankyu. Further information will be announced on the official website from March 5th.
