UNIQLO will be releasing products in collaboration with Marimekko, a Finnish design house known for its unique and beautiful prints, at large UNIQLO stores and the UNIQLO online store from March 30th.
This collaboration was born out of the match between Marimekko's mission of bringing joy to everyday life through positive and bold colors and patterns, and UNIQLO's clothing concept of "LifeWear," which aims to make everyday life richer and more comfortable. Marimekko's timeless, beautiful and bold colors are incorporated into UNIQLO's high-quality, comfortable casual wear.
Maija Louekari, one of Marimekko's graphic designers, has designed six patterns to add fun to everyday life into a total of nine items, including T-shirts, blouses, dresses, bottoms, shoes and bags. The collection includes the "Graphic T-shirt (short sleeve)" (1,500 yen) and "Graphic Dress (short sleeve)" (2,990 yen) with wide silhouettes perfect for casual occasions, showcasing a dynamic and fun look with bolder designs, the "Sleeveless Blouse" (2,990 yen) and "Sleeveless Graphic Dress" (3,990 yen) with feminine silhouettes that bring out your beauty and can be worn for a more elegant style, as well as "Wide Cropped Pants" (3,990 yen), "Canvas Sneakers" (1,990 yen), "Tote Bag" (1,990 yen), and "Knapsack" (1,990 yen) that will add an accent to your outfit. Also available are "Uniqlo exclusive patterns" and "Special color designs" that will be unveiled for the first time.
