Film director Sofia Coppola will release a memorial photo book, "Andrew Durham SET PICTURES Behind the Scenes with Sofia Coppola," (¥2,500), exclusively for her Japanese fans, on February 9, 2018. This book was urgently released in a limited run of 2,000 copies to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Sofia's directorial debut and her latest film, "The Beguiled," winning the Best Director award at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival, making her the second woman to do so in 56 years. It also features photos of the all-star cast relaxing behind the scenes, making it a photo book that looks back on Sofia's films. The film will be released nationwide from February 23rd at TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills and other theaters. The book also features the participation of photographer Andrew Durham, who has worked on Sofia's collaborative visuals with Louis Vuitton, Cartier, and others. Other contributors include Joseph Logan, who has worked as an AD for magazines like Vogue Paris and has produced numerous art books, and Nakako Hayashi, who edited Hanatsubaki in the 1990s and whose book Expanding Fashion garnered much attention.
