SkinAware, a one-mile wear and lingerie brand, has released a red lingerie series dyed with madder. From December 5th to January 31st, 2018, the brand will be collaborating with skincare brand Warew to create a campaign. 
 
Dyeing using madder is characterized by a slightly yellowish red color. This "botanical dye" captures the vibrant colors inherent in plants, and dyes extracted from plants are absorbed into the fabric.
Clothing dyed with madder is said to have the properties of heat retention, menstruation, blood purification, fever reduction, and tonicity, and has been used since ancient times to protect women's bodies. Red is also said to promote blood circulation and retain heat. In Italy, red is believed to bring good luck and symbolize strength, spirit, health, and abundance.

A collaboration set with Waryu will be released to coincide with the release of the "Akane" collection.
