Palace Hotel Tokyo and Ritz Paris hold special tasting event in collaboration with La Table de l'Espadon

Palace Hotel Tokyo (headquarters: 1-1-1 Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) is collaborating with the Ritz Paris, a Parisian hotel beloved by royalty and celebrities from all walks of life, to host a special tasting event for three days from October 5th to 7th, featuring French cuisine showcasing the essence of the finest ingredients.


Located on Place Vendôme, where Paris's renowned jewelers are lined up, the Ritz Paris stands like an elegant noblewoman symbolizing Paris. This historic and prestigious hotel, which opened in 1898, completed a four-year renovation last year, vividly restoring its spectacular Belle Époque interior. The Ritz Paris, which was opened by hotel magnate César Ritz together with Auguste Escoffier, a leading figure in the French cuisine world, has created extravagant cuisine that has captivated illustrious guests throughout history, including Coco Chanel, Ernest Hemingway, and Marcel Proust. The hotel is also a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, an association that only luxury hotels with exceptional values can participate in, and since reopening in 2016, it has collaborated with the Palace Hotel Tokyo, another member hotel, for the first time in Japan.


This time, Crown, the French restaurant at the Palace Hotel Tokyo, has invited Nicolas Salle, the 10th Executive Chef who oversees all of the hotel's food, including the Ritz Paris's signature two-star restaurant, La Table de L'Espadon, to host a special tasting event as part of the hotel's new initiative to pursue the essence of fine cuisine. The restaurant will offer a variety of creative, delicate, and elegant dishes.
