Opening Ceremony celebrates its 8th anniversary in Japan! Commemorative items and a reproduction tote bag with an "8-Ball" motif are now available

Aug 31, 2017

New York-based select shop OPENING CEREMONY launched exclusive items on August 30th to commemorate its 8th anniversary in Japan. The lineup includes a T-shirt (7,900 yen) and tote bag (6,000 yen) featuring graphic prints and embroidery, evoking the 8-ball in billiards, with the "8" representing the brand's 8th anniversary, as well as a sweatshirt (14,000 yen) featuring the brand's logo in trendy glitter. The popular tote bag will also be reissued in eight different variations, including limited-edition items from the brand's archives over the past eight years. Additionally, BlackEyePatch, known as the "mysterious sticker collective," will host a pop-up from August 30th to September 13th. The brand draws influences from various street-based cultures and creates clothing with its own unique interpretation. The pop-up will feature new items from the Fall/Winter 2017 collection, as well as items exclusive to the opening ceremony. Art pieces by Takuya Kamioka will also be on display, allowing visitors to experience the brand's worldview even more.
