Laforet Museum Harajuku will be hosting "magma's -magma 10th Anniversary Exhibition-" from October 28th to November 5th. Comprised of Jun Sugiyama and Kenichi Miyazawa, the duo's work transcends genre and time through a series of collaborations between objects. Using everyday objects—discarded items, familiar objects, and even objects equipped with cutting-edge technology—they create a wide range of works, from advertising art and spatial design to furniture and products. Marking their 10th anniversary, this exhibition marks the duo's first major exhibition, showcasing approximately 100 pieces, from three-dimensional and two-dimensional works and furniture created in their early years to the present, as well as original artwork and original works, including production sketches and never-before-seen works. A gallery tour and advance sales of the 10th anniversary collection are also planned during the exhibition.
