About Mitsubishi Estate
Mitsubishi Estate is a comprehensive real estate company established in 1937. Its basic mission is to "contribute to society through urban development," and it is involved in a wide range of businesses, including the development, leasing, and operation and management of offices and commercial facilities, such as those in Tokyo's Marunouchi area, as well as the development and sale of housing, as well as design supervision, real estate brokerage, overseas business, and area management. In recent years, in addition to hotel development and operation and airport business, the company has also been focusing on new business creation and digital transformation. In 1890, we purchased the Marunouchi area of Tokyo, which was still wilderness, and developed it into one of the world's leading business centers. As evidenced by our history, our Group values a "developer mindset" when developing cities, and continues to take on new challenges while considering the essential value required for the various spaces and services of all those involved with a city, including those who live, work, and visit.
In addition, with the SDGs as a scheme for future growth in our corporate activities, we have formulated CSR procurement guidelines, implemented supply chain management, signed the UN Global Compact, and published a human rights declaration. We are also a member of RE100, a collaborative initiative that commits companies to using 100% renewable energy for the electricity they use in their operations. We have also formulated the "Mitsubishi Estate Group Sustainable Development Goals 2030" and are committed to sustainability management.
