A collaboration between Isetan and the Reborn-Art Festival 2017, a comprehensive art, music, and food festival centered around Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, is taking place from July 19th to 31st at the Center Park/TOKYO Kaihoku on the second floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building. The Reborn-Art Festival 2017, a new art festival featuring art, music, and food, is being held in the Tohoku region and organized by ap bank, led by Takeshi Kobayashi. Works by contemporary artists from Japan and abroad are exhibited in downtown Ishinomaki and on the Oshika Peninsula. The Reborn-Art Festival 2017 × ap bank fes music event will be held from July 28th to 30th. Visitors can also enjoy exclusive meals featuring local ingredients prepared by chefs from Ishinomaki and other Tohoku regions, as well as renowned chefs from Japan and abroad. This time, Isetan Shinjuku will serve as a satellite venue for the festival, offering collaborations with participating artists and limited-edition products featuring Tohoku ingredients and brands. One notable artist collaboration is the fashion brand "Rurumuu," created by singer-songwriter Omori Seiko, who calls herself the "word magician of the new girl generation," and designer Azuma Kanae, who "studies cute girls." The two artists' worldviews will overlap, resulting in items that can only be seen at this venue. Additionally, unisex brand PLASTICTOKYO and stuffed animal brand Bobby Dazzler will create and sell one-of-a-kind items made using the vibrantly dyed, one-of-a-kind hunting flag, a traditional Tohoku material. Furthermore, official merchandise by fashion designer and mina perhonen founder Minagawa Akira and collaboration merchandise by freelance designer Oshima Keiichiro will also be available for pre-sale, providing an opportunity to get your hands on items before the event.
