Alyssum (Sustainability Designer)
Her wardrobe is full of secondhand clothes. Shopping in a way that's kind to the earth is her standard.

Alyssum, who we caught enjoying a shopping spree, is a sustainability designer at a music tech company. Being environmentally conscious, Alyssum mostly shops at second-hand shops like thrift stores. She says she likes to mix and match two different styles, and on this day, she paired masculine boots from AMBUSH with a feminine dress. The well-matched balance of the two different shades of blue is eye-catching. Her current favorite brand is Dris van Noten.

Mia (Social Worker)
A relaxed style that subtly combines high-end brands. This iconic New York brand is all the rage right now.

Mia, who lives in Brooklyn, went to Manhattan to meet up with friends. Her style, which combined a white cutwork lace dress with gray leather boots and a straw bag from Loewe, is casual yet sophisticated, with a mix of colors and materials that make it stand out. Mia is a fan of New York brands Khaite, Tibi, and Sam Edelman, and often shops at the online store INTERMIX. Her comment that she also frequently shops at ZARA is relatable. Her natural style, combined with a high-end bag, is perfect for a stylish cafe on the weekend.

Julie (Model)
A trendy girl who is adept at online shopping. Her favorite brand is Alexander Wang.

"If I like something, I'll buy it immediately, regardless of the price. I like everything from girly to dad fashion." Julie, who describes herself as free-spirited when it comes to fashion, coordinated a trendy low-rise micro mini skirt with a bold crop top. As a model, she can easily tell whether an outfit suits her just by looking at online photos. She enjoys shopping on a variety of websites, including SSENSE, Stylenanda, and Farfetch. Her favorite brands are Alexander Wang and Prada. She sometimes shops at Urban Outfitters.

Mia (Model)
A sophisticated vintage-meets-street style, with a trendy miniskirt.

On her way back from brunch with friends, Mia says she's into mixing vintage and street style outfits. On this day, she paired a newly purchased vintage dress and boots with an Ulla Johnson scarf and a Fendi mini bag. The varsity jacket she casually held in her hand added a street vibe. Despite using plenty of vintage elements, her outfit still exudes a trendy feel thanks to her emphasis on fit and the trendy length of the miniskirt. Her favorite brand is Acne Studios.

Kate (Museum Worker)
She's particular about materials and carefully shops on flea market apps. She elegantly wears a comfortable, loose dress.

Kate, who works at a museum, always prioritizes comfort when choosing her clothes. She enjoys shopping on the American flea market app, Poshmark, and says she spends a lot of time searching because she prioritizes materials over brands. She loves raw silk and linen, and on this day she accented her outfit with a mustard-colored raw silk scarf draped over her shoulders. "I wasn't in the mood for pants today," she says, elevating a loose-fitting nightgown dress into a natural and elegant style. Be sure to steal Kate's trick. Her latest favorite brand is Theory.

Renata (Model and Artist)
An all-black outfit that plays with silhouettes and materials. Her favorite is a brand that's popular in Japan.

While strolling through the West Village, Renata was spotted wearing an all-black outfit, but her leather-like dropped shoulder jacket and boyish cropped pants were a standout piece. The sheer inner layer added a soft touch, creating a weightless look that's definitely worth copying. Renata, who normally works as an artist, told us with a charming smile that her favorite brands are Maison Margiela and Yves Saint Laurent.
