Maison Goyard will host an India-themed pop-up store at The Stage on the first floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku for one week from April 27th to May 3rd, 2022. Through the pop-up featuring new bags decorated with special designs on the stage, visitors can immerse themselves in the timeless world of the art of living and travel proposed by Maison Goyard.

Pre-sale and limited quantities of special edition Clairvoy Goyardine canvas bags have been released, reimagined in colors symbolizing Indian festivals.
Maison Goyard's iconic Goyardin canvas is a material the brand boasts worldwide. This canvas, crafted with a herringbone pattern of linen and cotton, whose manufacturing process is kept strictly secret, is durable, lightweight, and water-resistant. Its soft texture and graceful aging allow for enjoyable experiences. The traditional Goyardin canvas, available in 13 colors, has been reimagined with new colors and designs, incorporating the "clairvoyance" motif (French for see-through), a special technique that creates the illusion of the lining color showing through the herringbone pattern. The "clairvoyance" motif, which expresses lightness, color, and light, is available in five special colors inspired by Holi, one of India's most colorful festivals: yellow, powder pink, orange, opal green, and turquoise blue. Fly to India in vibrant colors.

A Journey to India: A Unique Selection Showcasing Goyard's Traditional Craftsmanship
The exclusive "Clairvoyance in India" pattern is featured on three specially selected products to highlight the geometric purity and whimsical minimalism of the Goyard style.

The first is the iconic "Saint Louis" tote bag in PM (small) and GM (large) sizes, emblematic of Goyard. The second is a reissue of a design from the archives: the "Poitiers" mini tote bag, whose shape was originally designed for picnic chairs and therefore has a unique and alluring shape. Despite its small size, the Poitiers Mini Tote offers ultimate flexibility and feather-light weight, uniquely expressing the artistry of Goyard tote bags.

The "Clairvoyance in India" special edition bag is specially decorated with a pre-made marquee motif. This minimalist arrangement of the chevron motif, one of the fundamental elements of the Goyardine pattern, expresses a unique design through color combinations and their placement, paying homage to the custom-made craftsmanship that gives each bag its own individual character.

Limited-edition items with lotus embroidery will also be available

This pop-up will also feature special edition products with an Indian theme that are even more unique, as well as marquee motifs. The collection includes the "Embroidery Ange PM" reversible tote bag, featuring a gray body and elephant embroidery on both the exterior and interior, the white "Villette PM" featuring a turbaned Hulo, and the "Mahal" and "Hulo in India" marquees. The "Saigon" series, featuring a lotus flower motif, also makes an elegant appearance. The "Saigon" bag features a unique design made from beechwood, inheriting the trunk maker's signature design. To create this special embroidered version, the Goyardine canvas is crafted in France, embroidered by artisans in India, and then reassembled in France, sparing no effort. Be sure to check out these highly artistic bags, available in limited quantities.
