"Our collaboration with Takashi Murakami has led us into the world of digital art, a field of expression that Hublot pioneered in the world of watchmaking. Going forward, NFTs will be a key part of our motto, "Hublot loves art." "It will become an essential part of the artistic world of Hublot."

Hublot and Takashi Murakami will release two NFT digital art pieces, pushing the boundaries of artistic expression. These works are inspired by the Classic Fusion Takashi Murakami All Black and Classic Fusion Takashi Murakami Sapphire Rainbow, the first watch series to be released in 2021 by the Swiss watch brand Hublot and the great Japanese artist. These two limited edition watches were released in limited quantities of 200 and 100 pieces, respectively, and both sold out within days.

This new phase of the artistic collaboration with Murakami will feature two still digital artworks depicting smiling "flowers," an iconic theme of Murakami's work and the Superflat art movement. There are 216 pieces based on the "All Black" theme, and 108 pieces recreating the "Sapphire Rainbow" color scheme. These NFT digital artworks will be primarily intended for current owners of the two limited edition watches and will be offered under certain conditions, as described below, on Hublot.com. Current owners of the two watches must apply to acquire the NFTs between April 1, 2022 and April 25, 2022 (from 4:00 PM on April 1, 2022 to 6:59 AM on April 26, 2022, Japan Time). If an owner wishes to acquire an NFT digital art work, they will be able to receive a GIF data of the work in their cryptocurrency wallet and, from May 2022, will be able to exchange the NFT on a non-fungible token trading platform.

In addition, to celebrate the announcement of this "Hublot x Takashi Murakami" NFT digital art, Hublot will launch an artistic promotion. After its unveiling at "Watches & Wonders" in Geneva, special marketing is planned, including the display of posters and projections on iconic buildings in places such as Times Square in New York and London.

This NFT digital art work will also be available to the general public in limited quantities from May 2022. Stay tuned!
