Prince George's vest causes controversy after selling out

Dec 24, 2014

The knitted vest worn by Prince William and Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, in a Christmas family photo was met with rave reviews for its cuteness, but by the time the photo was released, vests with the same pattern were already out of stock, causing a bit of a stir.

The vest is a boys' vest from British brand Cath Kidston, featuring a marching guard pattern. Priced at an affordable 28 pounds, it has been inundated with inquiries from people looking to buy it as a Christmas gift or dress their children in matching outfits. However, vests with the same pattern are already out of stock. Cath Kidston has recommended different patterned products on its official Twitter account and has announced that it is doing everything it can to restock the item.
