Off-White c/o Virgil Abloh™ is pleased to announce a collaboration with Teenage Engineering, a Swedish electronic musical instrument manufacturer founded in 2007. The two brands have combined the best of electronics with Off-White's signature code to create the fluorescent orange OB-4 speaker/radio and apparel collection.

OB-4 Off-White
Known as the Bluetooth-enabled "magic speaker/radio," the OB-4 is a wireless speaker and radio all in one, featuring radio playback and a unique feature called Disc Mode. Disc Mode is an experimental media instrument feature developed by Teenage Engineering that allows users to process recorded radio waves into three different sounds: ambient, karma, and metronome. In addition to the bright orange exterior and rear logo, Virgil Abloh has added the sound of a Gyil, played by Ghanaian musician Sk Kakraba, to the disc mode space. The Gyil is a Ghanaian xylophone, a unique instrument created by playing rubber mallets across 14 wooden keys. To achieve resonance, a gourd is suspended beneath the keys, with small holes drilled into them and filled with spider egg sacs. Sk Kakraba is the last musician to both build and play this instrument. Additionally, the OB-4 Off-White comes with a custom-designed orange PVC bag with shoulder strap to perfectly match the instrument.
