Pierre Hermé's Valentine's Day limited edition chocolates are all here, including a new chocolate cake

Jan 4, 2015

PIERRE HERME PARIS will release this year's Valentine's Day products on January 21st.

The new "Coeur Plaisir Sucre" (3,456 yen) is a heart-shaped chocolate cake perfect for Valentine's Day. It features a complex texture and refreshing flavor, combining the richness of classic milk chocolate with the crunch of hazelnuts. It will be sold exclusively at the directly managed boutique.

The classic "Bonbon Chocolat" now comes in two new varieties: "Paineiras," which features a ganache made from pure chocolate from Paineiras Farm in Brazil coated with chocolat noir, and "Dolcezza," which features a ganache coated with chocolat noir and honey from the Maquis region of Corsica. These popular flavors are presented in a classic, heavy-duty box. A box of 5 varieties (5 pieces) costs 2,160 yen, a box of 8 varieties (8 pieces) costs 3,240 yen, and a box of 11 varieties (14 pieces) costs 5,400 yen.

New flavors will also be available for "Galle," the round, pebble-like chocolate. The raspberry-flavored "Chloe" will be sold exclusively at the Isetan Shinjuku store's "Salon du Chocolat 2015." The vanilla-flavored "Infiniment Vanille" will be sold exclusively at the Seibu Ikebukuro store, and the caramel-flavored "Infiniment Caramel" with fleur de sel will be sold exclusively at the Aoyama boutique. Each will cost 2,376 yen.

In addition, this year's macarons will be presented in a gift box featuring an illustration by popular French illustrator Soledad Bravi and the message "J' aime (I love you)." At Salon du Chocolat, a 12-piece box (¥4,563) offering six chocolate-flavored flavors will be available for pre-sale. Also available are a 3-piece box of 3 flavors for ¥1,512, a 4-piece box of 6 flavors for ¥2,592, a 5-piece box of 10 flavors for ¥3,456, and an 8-piece box of 15 flavors for ¥5,616. Additionally, last year's popular hazelnut-flavored bitter chocolate spread, "Part à Tartine Infiniment Praline Noisette" (¥2,160), a heart-shaped chocolate and caramel tart, "Tarte Cool Plenitude" (¥3,456), and a rose-flavored baked cheesecake, "Cool Cheesecake Ispahan" (¥3,456), will be available exclusively at directly managed boutiques. A truffle assortment (3 flavors, 9 flavors, ¥3,024) will also be available exclusively at JR Nagoya Takashimaya. The diverse lineup includes "Chocolat Earl Premier" (9,720 yen each / 1,404 yen for a box of 8 petite-sized pieces in 4 varieties), dynamic chocolates molded directly from old African masks, and "Snack Chocolat" (from 4,320 yen), which are fruits coated in chocolate.

Available at Pierre Hermé Paris Aoyama, directly managed boutiques, department store event spaces, and the online store.
