Mode in France 2015-16 Autumn/Winter will be held at the Westin Tokyo from January 14th

Dec 18, 2014

The 38th Mode in France exhibition, an exhibition and business meeting sponsored by the French Women's Ready-to-Wear Federation, will be held at the Westin Tokyo from January 14th to 16th, 2015.

The 2015-16 Fall/Winter collections will be presented, covering ready-to-wear, leather, fur, and fashion accessories. This year's event has moved from the previous Hilton Tokyo venue, and 52 companies and 62 brands are scheduled to participate. Of these, 6 companies and 10 brands will be exhibiting at the event for the first time. At the venue, Georges Morand, a hand-sewn leather glove maker that has collaborated with heavy clothing brands like LENER, FABRIQUE DE MANTEAUX and Ines de la Fressange, and has done business with renowned fashion houses like Jean Paul Gaultier and Dior, will be unveiling new products. Les Ateliers de la Maille is creating an organic collection themed around "wearing nature," inspired by the blouses worn by Japanese nurses, which are made from 70% bamboo. Meanwhile, GUIBERT PARIS, the brand that originated in equestrian wear, will be unveiling a capsule collection with Ginette New York. Additionally, designer Nathalie Chaize herself is scheduled to visit Japan. Other brands participating include Anahide Saint Andre, Articles de Paris, Bonne Maison, Buscarlet, Christian Marry, Honore, Hophophop, Les Olivades, Lucas Jack London, and Somewhere.
