The theme of Y's 14SS collection is "Sophisticated Nomad," blending the image of nomads with the sharp image of urban women. The collection features linear silhouettes and natural, matte materials with a dry, dry feel reminiscent of the desert. The main color is black, evoking the strength and dignity of working women. Oriental tones like purple, yellow-green, and turquoise are used as accent colors. Chinese buttons are also used as accents. This season's signature pieces include oversized shirts paired with checked wide-leg pants, wallpaper-like floral-print blouses and pants, and asymmetrical cut-and-sew tops that resemble the casual, draped fabric of nomadic clothing. Y's signature pieces, such as a long, sleeveless trench coat with oversized lapels and cape, and sarouel-style pants, are offered in natural tones and materials.
