CHANEL has announced a new model in its "BOY FRIEND TWEED" line of watches for women, exuding masculine charm.
The "BOY FRIEND" watch collection was launched in 2015 as a tribute to Mademoiselle Chanel, who created countless styles that brought out the charm of women through masculinity, and was inspired by her lifestyle, values, and fashion. The "BOY FRIEND" series, released in 2016, features an elegant design featuring the Maison's signature tweed pattern embossed on a bracelet made of thin stainless steel wire woven into a mesh. The sides of the bracelet are trimmed to recall the braid on the iconic Chanel jacket, and its refined look and balanced size have made it a hit since its release. This new model retains the sleek lines and minimalist style of the Boyfriend Tweed, while adding a lustrous coating to the black tweed strap for an even more masculine appeal. Two sizes are available: a small model with a plain case (¥435,000 / 27.9 x 21.5 mm, 6.23 mm thick) and a medium model with a brilliant-cut diamond bezel (¥1,010,000 / 34.6 x 26.7 mm, 7.33 mm thick). Both models are equipped with quartz movements. Combining the Maison's signature delicate tweed with an octagonal shape that pays homage to the Chanel No. 5 bottle stopper and the Place Vendôme, the Boyfriend Tweed watch exudes a unique presence, exuding esprit and boldness. The addition of these new models makes this lineup even more appealing.
