The other day, I received a special bottle at the award ceremony for the Chivas Regal 18 Year Old Gold Signature Award 2013 presented by GOETHE, for which Ryu Murakami served as a special judge.

What made the surprise of winning the award even more thrilling was that the bottle was designed by Vivienne Westwood.

Vivienne is famous as the queen of punk, but she is also a renowned British fashion designer with close ties to music, having produced the Sex Pistols with Malcolm McLaren in the 1970s.

In that sense, this bottle is truly special to me.
