
Actress Renée Zellweger was born on April 25, 1969, in Texas, United States. She studied English literature at the University of Texas but became interested in theater. After graduating, she appeared in plays and commercials, and made her film debut in 1993. She was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best New Actress for her role in "Dangerous Angels" (1994). She then moved to Los Angeles and appeared in "The Agent" (1996), starring Tom Cruise.
