New Balance will open its first global flagship store in Japan in Harajuku, Tokyo, on November 5th.
Following the openings in Boston and South Korea, New Balance plans to open global flagship stores around the world. The Harajuku store will be the largest of its kind in Japan, boasting a total floor space of approximately 1,400 square meters across four floors.
The store will offer a lineup unique to a global flagship store, featuring items from all brand categories, including performance, primarily running, lifestyle, women's, and children's wear. It will also feature a cafe and shower booths, and will host events from time to time.
Prior to the global flagship store, New Balance plans to open its first directly managed store in Hokkaido in Sapporo in October and in Umeda, Osaka, in November.
