To celebrate the 20th anniversary of ReStyle at Isetan Shinjuku, the "ReStyle 20TH '90s JOURNEY Shop" is currently open. The shop is a collaboration with ONLI MI's "Alternative Culture" project, which focuses on themes of "custom-made," "vintage," and "one-of-a-kind" while looking back on the trends and fashions of the '90s, the decade ReStyle was founded. The shop will be held at ReStyle TOKYO on the 2nd floor of the Shinjuku Isetan Main Building, ReStyle/ReStyle Plus on the 3rd floor of the Main Building, and ReStyle Lady on the 4th floor of the Main Building from September 14th to 26th. During the event, illustrator FACE will be creating illustrations of women wearing platform boots and nostalgic fashion items from the era, creating a space where you can experience the nostalgia of the '90s. There will also be a quiz event where you can enter text using pagers, a popular style at the time. Additionally, the central floor of ReStyle on the 3rd floor of the Main Building will feature an exhibition of '90s-related merchandise. Exhibits include pagers, Tamagotchi, Super Nintendo, the now-re-popular Fujifilm Instax, and Ai Yazawa's hit manga "No Angel." Additionally, a limited-time "Re-Style Bar" will be available on the same floor. With purchases from the "90's JOURNEY Shop," customers will receive a free drink or tiramisu, a popular treat at the time. Designers from brands closely associated with Re-Style will also be bartending and giving talks at the bar. (See end of article for talk guests.) For apparel, Re-Style collaborated with a variety of creators and brands. For a project titled "Art Knit," five designers—written by, Akane Utsunomiya, Akira Naka, leur logette, and MOUJIC—created special, art-like knitwear. Additionally, AKIRA NAKA will be releasing a one-of-a-kind vintage flannel shirt with '90s-themed floral embroidery on the back and the year the brand was founded, "93," embroidered in small letters. Also, European vintage shop STUDIO marionette will be offering drawing items. They will be showcasing one-of-a-kind pieces featuring pin badges and parts in collaboration with LUGHA. On the 23rd, a '90s-themed night party will be held, packed with nostalgic food, music, and fun. The first 20 pairs (40 people) to make a purchase at the "90's JOURNEY Shop" during the event will be invited. Additionally, 5 pairs (10 people) will be entered into a lottery to invite those who correctly answer the "90's JOURNEY Quiz Rally" between the 14th and 19th.
