The annual Aosando Art Fair, held every October, will return this year from October 20th to 23rd at approximately 40 stores in Aoyama, Omotesando, Harajuku, and other areas. First held in 2007 on Aosando, connecting Aoyama-dori and Omotesando, the fair has been held annually in October, centered around Aosando, with the goal of livening up the street with art and allowing visitors to enjoy the works of contemporary artists. A unique feature of the fair is that storefronts themselves are transformed into art exhibition venues, making it an event where art can be enjoyed just as easily as shopping or visiting a cafe. Marking its 10th anniversary, this year's theme is "Ignite My Curiosity," and features art adorning the street, collaborations between artworks and participating stores, parties, interactive workshops, an outdoor cafe, and more. This year's main visual was created by Paris-born artist Nathalie Lete. The design was chosen to commemorate the opening of Nathalie Lete's first Japanese exclusive shop, "Le monde de Nathalie," in Aosando.
