For the 2021 Artycapucines Collection, six more contemporary artists bring their unique vision to Louis Vuitton's timeless and feminine classic, the Capucines bag.

This third installment in Louis Vuitton's limited-edition artist-designed Artycapucines Collection once again demonstrates the bag's power to inspire limitless creativity. For this latest collection, six internationally acclaimed artists – Gregor Hildebrandt, Donna Huanca, Huang Yuxing, Vik Muniz, Paola Pivi and Zeng Fanzhi – have transformed the blank canvas of the iconic bag, named after the rue Neuve des Capucines in Paris, where Louis Vuitton opened its first store in 1854. Following on from the first and second Artycapucines releases, these six new bags demonstrate the collection's ability to blend the aesthetic sensibility and creativity of artists with the ingenuity and exquisite craftsmanship of the Maison's master artisans. Gregor Hildebrandt's captivating black-and-white designs are screen-printed on leather, with LV initials inlaid with a vinyl record. Donna Huanca's intricate, powerful, and tactile bags feature hand-painted embroidery and ring earrings. Huang Yuxing's Capucines bags feature beautifully embroidered, vibrantly colored, dreamlike landscapes. Vik Muniz's signature playful bags feature evocative trompe-l'oeil effects and a playful aesthetic. Paola Pivi's creations feature intricate leather inlays and lavish gold leaf. Zeng Fanzhi reinterprets Van Gogh's self-portrait, bringing it to life with more than 700,000 exquisite embroidery stitches.

The Artycapucines collection, currently featuring 18 unique designs from renowned artists such as Henry Taylor, Beatriz Milhazes, Urs Fischer, Zhao Zhao, Jean-Michel Othonir, and Tschabalala Self, once again demonstrates the Maison's long-standing desire to harness its innovative spirit and artisanal expertise to help creative minds bring their ideas to life. Each bag embodies the Maison's boundless passion for savoir-faire and craftsmanship, and vividly demonstrates that the Capucines is the ultimate expression of Louis Vuitton's timeless elegance.

Each bag in the third Artycapucines collection will be limited to 200 pieces and will be available in stores worldwide at the end of October 2021.
