Helicopter Journey
Aman Kyoto (located in Jugendō-chō, Okitayama, Kita-ku, Kyoto) is a private resort nestled in a secluded forest garden at the foot of the Takamine Sanzan mountain range, stretching from Hidari Daimonjiyama in the northern part of Kyoto. Aman Kyoto has prepared a "Helicopter Journey" activity for guests to enjoy. A scenic flight offers panoramic views of the cityscape of this ancient capital, which flourished as a capital for a thousand years and is filled with culture and history. Taking off from Takagamine Heliport, close to Aman Kyoto, you can enjoy a 15-25 minute journey across scenic locations, from temples and shrines such as the World Heritage Sites Kamigamo Shrine and Kinkaku-ji Temple, to Lake Biwa, with the Kamo River flowing from north to south and the Higashiyama Mountains as its backdrop. The silhouettes of the mountains seen from afar as the sky turns red with the setting sun are especially beautiful, making this a great option for special occasions such as important anniversaries. In addition to sightseeing, we also accept requests for transportation.
