NAKED Co., Ltd. will be exhibiting art in collaboration with "Kyoto Tanabata" from August 1st to August 15th only at the "Nijo Castle x NAKED Nijo Castle Summer Festival 2021 - Naked Kaleidoscope Fireworks" being held at the World Heritage Site, Nijo Castle.

Special limited-time performances for the Tanabata festival on the lunar calendar will be featured at the "Nijo Castle Summer Festival 2021"
In place of the many fireworks displays and summer festivals that have been canceled this year, the "Nijo Castle x Naked Nijo Castle Summer Festival 2021 ~ Naked Kaleidoscope Fireworks ~" is being held at the World Heritage Site, Nijo Castle, with a fireworks display as its theme, in order to allow people to enjoy the summer atmosphere safely and securely. Enjoy the nightlife of Nijo Castle, home to numerous historical buildings including national treasures and important cultural properties, with NAKED's signature kaleidoscope-like mapping fireworks, safely and securely, featuring infection-prevention art adapted to the new lifestyles amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the exhibition period, from August 1st to August 15th, which corresponds to Tanabata according to the lunar calendar, a special limited-time production will be held in the front garden of the Important Cultural Property "Dokoro" as a collaborative project with "Kyoto Tanabata 2021." This collaboration between Kyoto's traditional "Kyoto Yuzen" craftsmanship and NAKED's projection mapping will be held. With the cooperation of Kameda Tomizome Factory Co., Ltd./Pagong, under the theme of "Kaleidoscope Fireworks in the Starry Sky of Tanabata," flowers painted in Kyo Yuzen will be transformed into kaleidoscope fireworks, exploding into the night sky. Additionally, in front of the Nagayamon Gate, message lanterns from prominent figures with ties to Kyoto will be on display, and in front of the large rest area, there will be a "Wish Tanabata" exhibition where visitors can write their wishes on strips of paper. Enjoy a unique Tanabata experience at Nijo Castle.
