"Girls Standing on Lawns," a collage of artworks from the MOMA collection, and the new "Beloved" This picture book is by the author of colorful and witty works such as "Pete the Dog." It tells the story of Pete, a lovable dog who is free-spirited, mischievous, and playful. The humorous and engaging co-translation by mother-daughter duo Akiko Yano and Miu Sakamoto is also appealing.

"WHERE'S WARHOL?" (Catherine Ingram, Andrew Ray / Published by Laurence King Publishing)

While this is a parody of "Where's Karl?", like "Where's Karl?", it is uniquely structured to provide a bird's-eye view of not only Andy Warhol's biography but also the history of painting. It starts with STUDIO54. Basquiat appears on the cover! The social history and commentary at the end of the book are also impressive.
