The first full-fledged comedy Spotify original podcast program in Japan has launched!
The newly launched "Robert Presents Listening Sketch Program ~Akiyama Daiichi Building~" is a podcast program hosted by the popular comedy trio Robert, affiliated with Yoshimoto Kogyo, and will be distributed exclusively on Spotify.
The show revolves around three people: Akiyama, the owner of a fictional multi-tenant building called Akiyama Daiichi Building; Baba, the owner of the building next door; and Yamamoto, the manager of a cafe that is a tenant in the building. The intriguing skits take place in the form of comedians who appear as guests each time and secretly eavesdrop on the quarrels that take place within the building.
The memorable first episode, which will be released on October 12th, will feature popular comedians Sisonne and New York as guests. Upcoming guests include JaruJaru, Kamaitachi, Rice, Kuuki Kaidan, Chocolate Planet, Yuriyan Retriever, Shizuru, Aiseki Start, Sakuma Ikko, Mou Chugakusei, Iron Head, Kaerutei, and many more, including winners and top prize winners of "King of Conte," a competition to determine the best comedy duo in Japan, so be sure to check it out!
