■"The Sartorialist. India" by Scott Schuman

Scott Schuman photographs fashion shows while also taking street snaps. His blog, "The Sartorialist," which showcases his photographs, has become a leading voice in the fashion industry, particularly street fashion, and receives millions of page views each month. In 2009, he released a photo book of the same title, which became a hot topic. That same year, TIME magazine named him one of the "100 Most Influential People in Design."

In this book, he travels to India multiple times to capture its unique style, from its streets and markets to its cricket grounds, and in cities like Delhi, Jaipur, Pushkar, and Mumbai. His photographs capture the country's diversity and splendor through colors, patterns, and textiles.

Schuman's approach is intimate, celebrating the lives of people of all ages, from laborers and transgender people to wrestlers, surfers, grandfathers, and fashionistas, to children and workers.
