Matohu has presented 17 collections over eight years under the title "Japanese Eyes." This time, the brand will hold the "Matohu Japanese Eyes Exhibition," a culmination of the "Japanese Eyes" collection, from January 8th at Spiral Garden in Aoyama, Tokyo.

The "Japanese Eyes" collection, born from a fusion of cutting-edge design and ancient aesthetic sensibilities, has garnered acclaim not only within the fashion industry but also both domestically and internationally. This exhibition will feature an art installation that evokes various aspects of Japanese aesthetics in the form of a "Japanese garden," paired with clothing that embodies this aesthetic.
In addition to items exclusively available for sale at the exhibition, such as rare archives of Nagagi from past generations, reproduction Nagagi, and the Japanese-bound hand-bound book "Eyes of Japan" (limited to 250 copies), the venue will also feature Japanese sweets in collaboration with HIGASHIYA. There will also be a talk show by Matofu designers Horihata Hiroyuki and Sekiguchi Makiko, and a live concert by Hatanaka Masato. Reservations are required for all events during the exhibition, so if you're interested, please check the information box below.
Come and discover hints that will bring awareness and richness to your daily life from the clothing designs by Matofu.
