This "festival thriller" is set at a bright, festival filled with sunshine and flowers. After losing her family in a freak accident, Dani (Florence Pugh) travels to a remote Swedish village with her boyfriend, a university folklore student, and five friends for a once-in-90-years festival. The village, where beautiful flowers bloom in abundance and the sun never sets, seems like a paradise, with kind residents singing and dancing merrily.

However, a sense of unease gradually begins to spread, and Dani's mind becomes troubled. Delusions, trauma, anxiety, fear...it is the beginning of an unimaginable nightmare. Set at a bright festival that overturns the terrifying history, the film's brilliant conception and direction, a meticulous script in which every scene is a foreshadowing, and captivating, vibrantly colored visuals all come together to deliver an unforgettable finale. The film is directed by the highly anticipated director Ari Aster, whose 2018 film "Hereditary" was ranked among the best films of the year by numerous critics, film websites, and film magazines, and who has been praised as "a true genius" and "the new god of horror films" for this film. He is also scheduled to visit Japan for the first time to coincide with the release of this film. Furthermore, this film has been urgently selected as the opening film for "Shin Fanta: Resurrection!? Tokyo International Fantastic Film Festival Night," which will be making a one-night comeback on November 2nd as an all-night screening at the 32nd Tokyo International Film Festival. This legendary film festival has led the horror and thriller film boom and has been an early adopter of Japanese anime and films from Hong Kong, Korea, and India. This all-night screening, the first to be revived in 14 years since 2005, will be the Japan premiere of this film.
