Officine Universelle Buly's Louvre Museum Collection arrives in Japan, on sale from October 19th

A limited-edition collaboration collection between Paris-based OFFICINE UNIVERSELLE BULY and the Louvre Museum will arrive in Japan on October 19th.


This world's first exclusive collection with the Louvre Museum features eight renowned French perfumers creating scents inspired by iconic works from the Louvre Museum's collection.The collection will be released in five different items, each with one scent: the world's first water-based perfume "Eau Triple," a fragranced candle, fragrance stones, paper soap, and scented postcards.



Eight fragrances inspired by eight artworks from the Louvre Museum's collection are available. "Eau Triple" (21,000 yen) is the world's first water-based perfume. Its alcohol-free, water-soluble formula maximizes the natural fragrance of natural fragrances.

The fragrance candle "Bougie Parfumé" (21,000 yen) is a visually stunning piece of art. The flameless room fragrance, "Alabastre" (9,500 yen), radiates from its small ceramic box.

"Feuille de Savon" (2,500 yen) is a paper soap that gently dissolves in water, leaving a subtle fragrance on your hands. The scented postcards "Carte Postale Parfumé" (700 yen) are faintly scented postcards with motifs of the Louvre's most famous works.

The fragrances are inspired by eight artworks housed in the Louvre Museum, including the famous "Venus de Milo," "Winged Victory of Samothrace," and "Conversation in the Garden."

Perfumer Jean-Christophe Hérault was inspired by "Venus de Milo," creating a mellow mandarin, delicate jasmine, amber, and woody scent. Perfumer Elénor Massenet was inspired by "Winged Victory of Samothrace," creating a mysterious myrrh, tuberose, magnolia, and jasmine scent. Perfumer Dorothée Pio was inspired by "Conversation in the Garden," creating a peppermint, bergamot, and rose scent. Perfumer Delphine Lebeau created the scent of lilies permeating a luxurious bed steeped in musk for "The Bar." Perfumer Daniela Andrier wove an olfactory tale of lemongrass, orange blossom, patchouli, and incense for "The Bather of Valpinçon." Perfumer Annick Menardo created a harmony of jasmine and heliotrope complementing musk and amber for "The Nymph and the Scorpion." Perfumer Sydney Lansesser created a quartet of wood, pink pepper, vetiver, and verbena for "Saint Joseph the Carpenter." Perfumer Domitile Michelon-Bertier created a rich musk scent framed by incense and pink pepper for "The Grande Odalisque."

This exclusive collection will be available from October 19th at the Daikanyama flagship store, Kyoto store, Nihonbashi store, Osaka Umeda store, and NEWWoMan Shinjuku store.
