Marginal Press returns to Nakameguro for three days with an offline art bookshop

Event Date:2019.09.26-09.28
Sep 25, 2019
For three days from September 26th to 28th, the bookshop event "Offline Art Book Shop" will be held at W+K+ Gallery in Nakameguro, jointly run by online bookshop Flotsambooks and twelvebooks, which distributes and coordinates overseas art books in Japan.

This event showcases newly arrived visual books such as photo books and collections of works, as well as exhibits and sells them. Now in its fourth year, the name has changed from "Offline PhotoBook Shop" to "Offline Art Book Shop." Participating guest book sellers will be Marginal Press, a publisher with many fans that sadly announced its closure in 2017, as well as NEU BANAL, which has taken over some of Marginal Press's operations and distributes independent magazines in Japan.

In addition, as with the previous event, works by various artists will be exhibited and for sale on the walls of the venue, all priced at 10,000 yen. The event will be curated by photographer/director Kisshomaru Shimamura. Participants include Tsukasa Kudo of kudos and artist Masaho Anotani.
