[Updated] Yasei Bakudan's Kukki releases his first artist book! Report on "Cecena's Tea Party"

To commemorate the release of Yasei Bakudan's Kukki's first artist book, "Super Kukki Illustrated Guide: Wataridori: Migratory Bird," "Checena-chan's Tea Party" was held on June 17th, featuring a talk event, autograph session, and photo session.

In order to express the genius Kukki's worldview, "Super Kukki Illustrated Guide: Wataridori: Migratory Bird" features photographs of works exhibited at "Super Kukki Land," which drew an astounding number of attendees, as well as newly created characters, all taken in Tokyo, Taipei, and the United States. It also covers the art works that Kukki has created over the years. Comedian and artist Kukki's "craziest worldview ever" is featured in this 248-page book featuring 150 original photographs and 261 illustrations.

To commemorate the release of this book, "Cecena's Tea Party" was held in Harajuku, Tokyo on June 17th. The first 100 ticket holders were invited to attend the talk show, where they received signed copies of the book and took photos. The talk featured junior comedian Taketo as MC, and guest Aoki Misako, president of the Lolita Association and a huge fan of Kukki's, and the conversation ranged from anecdotes about the book to discussions about Lolita.

The book is packed with Kukki's worldview, including various cuts of Chechena-chan and illustrations of characters created by Kukki, and it is said that by looking at it you can understand everything about Kukki at this point in time. When asked about the origin of the title "Wataridori" (Migratory Bird), he replied that he chose it because he wanted the title to be "the most uncool title possible," drawing laughter.

On this day, Kukki appeared in a pink leotard decorated with frills. He commented that the charm point of his fashion is "the lace sewn into the leotard," saying, "The lace is made by sewing bleached wood ear mushroom pigments onto the lace, and the pink fabric is made by removing the pigment from "Dracula gum" and then coloring it and pasting it on." The bag and parasol that went with the leotard are from Emily Temple Cute, a brand coveted by Lolita fashion. Kukki's style, which unknowingly includes brands that are extremely popular among Lolitas, was praised by Aoki as being of an advanced level, and she even had the opportunity to be appointed vice president of the Lolita Association.

Kukki says she doesn't like having her photo taken, saying "I only want three shots per pose!" However, Aoki Misako taught her how to pose in the Lolita style, and she responded to the photos at the venue with cute poses such as making a heart with her hands and crossing her legs with the hem of her skirt pinched up.

MC Taketo and Yasei Bakudan member Kukki appeared as "Chechena-chan."
Photographed using Lolita poses taught to them by Misako Aoki, President of the Japan Lolita Association.
