This exhibition features works by Yayoi Kusama, who has left a significant mark on postwar art history and is one of Japan's leading avant-garde contemporary artists, as well as works by renowned contemporary artists from around the world who were active during and after her time. The exhibition will feature a variety of contemporary art, including pop art, which reached its peak in the 1960s, such as that of Andy Warhol and David Hockney, minimal art that emerged later under the influence of pop art, and artists active in the 1980s and 1990s, such as Jeff Koons and Julian Opie.
