■ "Bambi" by Beni Bischof

This is a film picture book series featuring watercolors by Swiss artist Beni Bischof, who creates a unique worldview using a variety of media including photography, collage, and drawing, while watching her favorite movies.

Following the well-received first installment, "Rambo," this new second installment is a picture book of "Bambi." Once again, Beni Bischoff created hundreds of watercolor paintings while repeatedly watching the film "Bambi." The fawn plays in the forest, separates from its mother, and grows up while meeting various animals. Beni Bischoff's dream-like scenes are beautiful, yet also evoke an eerie sense of fear and mysterious premonition, and fragmented words and text handwritten as if they were part of the painting create an enigmatic atmosphere.
