Designer Em Zed Eych, who creates one-of-a-kind, handmade objets d'art candles that can be lit but cannot, will be holding his first solo exhibition in two years at Omotesando ROCKET from December 8th to 13th.


The title of his solo exhibition, "L'EAU À LA BOUCHE," means "drool in the mouth" in French. Inspired by the image of a dinner party hosted by Veronica, a sensitive girl who drools when she sees something beautiful, the venue will be designed to resemble Veronica's room, and his new candle works will be on display. To commemorate his first solo exhibition in two years, the exhibition will feature metalwork snuffers (candle extinguishers) and MZH's first zine with a video DVD for sale, as well as candles created in collaboration with three guest creators: miaulement, a creator who creates mysterious fashion items; wakanafaceless, a mask artist who mixes different materials to create one-of-a-kind masks; and Hayashi Masaru, an embroidery artist who manipulates thread to create accessories.
