H.I.S. has launched and is now accepting reservations for a tour that allows participants to capture the world's most breathtaking landscapes while receiving instruction from a professional photographer.

The two proposed tours are a trip to the Uyuni Salt Flats in Bolivia, South America, known as "a must-see spot on Earth," and an overnight stay in Yellowknife, Canada, which boasts an astonishing rate of aurora viewing. Both tours are accompanied by a photographer, and participants receive instruction on photography techniques and tips appropriate for the environment. These tours allow participants to immerse themselves in the mystical landscapes woven by nature and capture them in photographs.

Surrounded by the Andes Mountains and located at an altitude of 3,700 meters, the Uyuni Salt Flats are known as the "mirror of the sky" because during the rainy season, water accumulates on their surface, reflecting the sunlight and starlight, creating a beautiful, mirror-like landscape. While most tours of the Uyuni Salt Flats typically involve one or two nights, this itinerary offers a relaxing three-night stay at a "salt hotel" on the shores of the Uyuni Salt Flats. Enjoy the early morning sunrise, the starry sky reflected on the lake's surface at night, and the spectacular, mirror-like reflection of the clouds in the daytime sky. Stargazing is particularly challenging, as controlling exposure to ensure the correct brightness is essential. This itinerary includes instruction on camera techniques tailored to each level, delivered by nature photographer Junji Takasago. Two itineraries are available, both with the same departure date: "9 Days of Photography at South America's Spectacular Uyuni Salt Flats" and "11 Days of Photography at Uyuni Salt Flats and Machu Picchu Ruins," which also includes a visit to the mysterious aerial city of Machu Picchu. The departure date is set to coincide with a new moon, which offers the best chance of capturing a beautiful starry sky.

The "5-Day Yellowknife Trip: Spectacular Scenery of the Far North: Mysterious Aurora Coloring the Night Sky" is a three-night trip to Yellowknife, known for its high rate of aurora viewing. The tour will take you on a dog sled ride across the vast snowy plains to Far Lake, an aurora viewing spot also used by professional photographers. On the day, you will be accompanied by Masami Tanaka, a nature photographer known as the "Aurora Hunter" and boasting over 20 years of experience photographing in these environments. She will provide tips for taking even more impressive photos, from beginners to advanced photographers. In addition, you will receive free rental of cold weather gear and a tripod (only on the first day) essential for aurora photography, as well as a special rental price for Masami Tanaka's favorite camera for aurora photography. Prices are 849,000 yen for "9 days of photography at South America's spectacular Uyuni Salt Flats," 879,000 yen for "11 days of photography at Uyuni Salt Flats and Machu Picchu ruins," and 359,000 yen for "5 days in Yellowknife, a spectacular view of the far north and the mysterious aurora that colors the night sky."
